DaySavvy Terms & Privacy

1. What is DaySavvy?

DaySavvy is a productivity and emotional intelligence assistant built for individuals and teams. We help you manage tasks, goals, and well-being using AI, voice, and simple tools. By using DaySavvy, you agree to these terms.

2. What data do we collect?

• Account info: username, full name, email, password (hashed), and avatar (if provided).
• Workspace data: tasks, goals, subtasks, reminders, and feedback you submit.
• Voice & chat: voice transcripts and chat history (if you use those features).
• Device info: browser/device type, logs, and error traces (for support and security).

We use this data only to provide, secure, and improve DaySavvy. We do not sell your data or use ad networks.

3. What technologies and services do we use?

• Backend: Flask, SQLAlchemy, Flask-Limiter, Flask-Mail, Flask-WTF, Authlib, and Python.
• Frontend: Bootstrap, custom JavaScript, and HTML/CSS.
• AI & Voice: Groq (for LLM), gTTS (for TTS), browser SpeechRecognition API (for voice input).
• Email: Gmail SMTP (for notifications and support).
• Database: SQLite (development), PostgreSQL (planned for production).
• Hosting: Render.com (current), AWS/Azure/Google Cloud (possible future scaling).
• Analytics: Basic server logs and error monitoring (no ad tracking, no Google Analytics).

We only use services required to run DaySavvy. Third parties receive the minimum data needed and are bound by confidentiality or data processing agreements.

4. How do we use your data?

• To provide and personalize your DaySavvy experience.
• To secure your account and data (encryption, access controls, rate limiting).
• To improve features, fix bugs, and analyze usage (anonymized).
• To send you important updates or notifications (never spam).

5. Your choices & rights

• You can request to download or delete your account anytime by emailing daysavvy.ei@gmail.com.
• You can revoke microphone or notification permissions in your browser or device settings.
• You can opt out of experiments or beta features in your settings (when available).

6. Security & limitations

• All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and stored in access-controlled databases.
• We run regular security checks, but no system is perfectly secure.
• DaySavvy is not a medical, therapy, or financial service. Use your own judgment and emergency resources when needed.
